Welcome to the Canvas & Physics Software Challenge!

Static whiteboards and simple flat tools are no longer enough for complex modern software. This hackathon challenges builders, developers, and designers to push the boundaries of real-time web applications by building Collaborative, Interactive Canvases for Physics, Math, or Complex Simulations.

What We're Looking For

We want participants to construct high-performance, browser-based applications that go beyond standard CRUD interfaces. Your project should focus on interactive simulation, real-time collaboration, or client-side computation.

What Makes a Great Submission

  • Real-Time Interactive Engine: Build a dynamic canvas (e.g., using 2D physics engines, vector math representations, or interactive node graphs) where users can manipulate physical properties, forces, or data streams.

  • Multi-User Collaboration: Integrate real-time state synchronization (via WebSockets, WebRTC, or CRDTs like Yjs) so multiple users can interact inside the same shared workspace without state conflicts.

  • Visual Telemetry & Insights: Incorporate live visual feedback—such as real-time graphs, vector component breakdowns, or dynamic analytics overlay charts.

  • Developer / User Export Capabilities: Give users a way to export their visual creations—whether as generated code snippets (e.g., JavaScript/Python physics code), high-resolution vector assets, or structured JSON configurations.
